Barcelona are set to enter the winter transfer market, with the Blaugrana reportedly preparing bids for Miguel Veloso and Ibrahim Afellay.

With Seydou Keita and Yaya Toure away on African Nations Cup duty, Barca are in need of midfield re-enforcements, while they are also hoping for a left winger, with Thierry Henry likely to move on next year.

According to Marca, their main target for the latter is Afellay, the 23-year-old Dutch international who plays for PSV Eindhoven, while their choice for the former is Veloso, also 23, who plays for Sporting Lisbon.

Barcelona are aware that both players are in high demand, so they are eager to push through a move, with news to this regard expected before the end of the week.
