Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is hoping that his side can make history when they take on Copa Libertadores champions Estudiantes in the FIFA Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi.Messi scored Barca's second in their 3-1 semi-final win over Mexican side Atlante but is aware that his side have it all to do if they are to overcome his fellow countrymen on Saturday."We have a small stepremaining to enter into history but we cannot be overconfident as Estudiantes are a great team," Messi stated, according to Sport. "We are living a special moment. Winning this game would allow us to cap off a massive 2009 and complete something that never appeared likely even in my wildest dreams, but we should not declare victory before winning the trophy."Messi also declared that the reigning Spanish and European champions success is down to their collective ability and insisted that Barca is more than just a team of talented individuals."The strength of Barca is the group, no individual player can be considered decisive, but each of us brings their bit and this is what makes us great," he commented.
