Thierry Henry has reportedly fallen out of favour with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, who may be set to favour young goalscoring sensation Pedro over the misfiring Frenchman, according to a report in AS.
It is reported that the 32-year-old striker, who has not scored for Barcelona since the 6-2 win over Real Madrid and has not as yet received clearance to play this weekend against Osasuna after being injured a fortnight ago while on duty for France and is suggested to have fallen out with the coach.
Guardiola is believed to have turned his attentions to Pedro, who has so far this season managed goals this season for Barca and is said to be more content with the rotation policy at the club than the experienced Henry.
Speculation has grown during the summer of a likely switch to the MLS, with New York Red bulls a mooted destination and AS reports that the United States is a likely move for Henry next summer if it doesn't happen in the winter window.
France's upcoming World Cup play-off against Ireland could be a factor in whether the French star has a desire to remain in Europe after the winter break.
